About Us:

Rowley Engineering has provided engineering design to Lumber and Plywood manufacturing plants in North America since 1973.

During this period we have developed and aided in the design of plant and machines that are common in modern high productive plants throughout continent.

One stud mill designed in the early eighties produced 350,000 Board Feet of lumber in a 7 ½ hour shift.

We designed and developed machines, such as Singulating Unscramblers and high speed lug feeders that have been copied and installed in well over 1,000 installations.  These devices are now common in most scanning edger infeeds and many sawmill trimsaw infeeds.  See out Machine Section for more information.
